Rantings and ravings. Glimpses of my crazy life. Ramblings about my home in Port Lavaca, my work in Houston, my PhD progress at Texas Tech University, and everything around and in between. I also have a business in Houston (Amaya Consulting) and am working on a joint venture in Papua New Guinea (Herries Engineering and Technical Services). It may seem like madness, but it's a good life, and you are invited to poke around in it a bit as often and as randomly as you wish.

Moved into a Room
Jess has been moved into a private room now. Main 548 is a good spot. There is a lovely view of the a.c. unit from the window, but otherwise is roomy with a very comfortable chair. Jess is resting better now but sleeping a bit more than I expected. He had two surprise visitors, Johnny and Martha Ramirez. It was a lovely visit. I will sit with Jess a bit longer before heading off to work for a bit. My apologies for disjointed comments and grammer and spelling errors. I'm posting from a device that does not allow me to actually see what I've typed in. Still, it is something. :-)
